Sensex up 350 pts, Nifty reclaims 10,600; banks, IT, metals, oil stocks lead

Benchmark indices extended rally in afternoon, with the Sensex rising 351.73 points or 1.03 percent to 34,507.68, backed by banking & financials, technology, auto, metals and oil & gas stocks.

The 50-share NSE Nifty rose 107.70 points or 1.03 percent to 10,608.60, but the market breadth was negative.

About 1,405 shares declined against 1,180 advancing shares on the BSE.
