Sensex recovers, Nifty back above 10,100; Bank index turns positive

Equity benchmarks recovered from day’s lows, with the Nifty reclaiming 10,100 level as Bank index turned positive.

The 30-share BSE Sensex was down 47.68 points at 32,822.04 and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 8.90 points to 10,118.90.

About two shares declined for every share rising on the BSE.
